08 Clos de Tart tops Jancis Robinson blind burgundy tasting

Jancis Robinson MW, one of the worlds most respected wine writers, has pointed the 2008 Clos de Tart as the number one wine in a recent tasting of 2008 and 2006. The tasting was conducted entirely blind. This is a great result for this truly excptional wine, the notes from both the 2008 and 2006 are below.

Magnum. Very firm and bright and almost Cabernet–like! Burly and autumnal and massively round and plush and full of gorgeousness. Very vital.

Deep ruby. Really interesting autumnal nose. Tannins have all but dissipated but there is vitality here and lots of current pleasure. Vitality and well etched.
