Gary Walsh from The Wine Front on the 2011 Ceretto Nebbiolo:

Bold style of Nebbiolo, showing the 2011 vintage to full effect. Licorice, dried flowers and herbs, spice, tar, dark cherry – stormy, yet pretty. Full bodied, firm and rugged and compact in the mouth – grunty thing – showing some raspberry and redcurrant freshness, a cranberry crunch to the acidity, raw almonds, and a pretty long black tea laced tannin finish. Looked better on the second day, though stayed pretty much resolute. It has some ways to go in the cellar, I’d say.
