Another import review from Andrew Graham, who runs Australian Wine Review

From Marcel Deiss’ ‘fruit’ series, this looks particularly rich and botrytised this vintage, apparently representative of a year with quite a bit of rot. No need to worry though, this is typically delicious, lively stuff.Apricot and herbs. There is both absolute richness and rather stern acidity in here, delivering a wine that satisfies in its combination of acid drive and fruit richness. There is a proper old school Alsace glory to a wine like this methinks, the texture and weight without excess something to be proud of. Like a stocky winger who can mysteriously run faster than anyone else (and should do so for several years yet). Not profound, but oh-so delicious.Drink: 2013-2017+Score: 17.7/20 92/100Would I buy it? Indubitably
