Max Allen has reviewed the 2010 Viré-Clessé in the Nov/Dec issue of Gourmet Traveller WINE. Here is the full review:

I recently tasted the range of 2010 Chanson white Burgundies imported by Terroir Selections. While I was very impressed with the much more expenssive ($100-plus) premier crus, such as the refined Clos des Mouches and hazelnutty Chassagne Montrachet Les Chenevottes, this humble Viré-Clessé from Macon is the wine I wanted to take home and drink. It’s just so deliciously tangy and vivacious, with lovely balance and a gently savoury finish. It’s crying out for simple grilled white fish and a sorrel sauce. MA
